Tour of Switzerland

The Tour of Switzerland is a swiss stage cycling race created in 1933 which takes part of the UCI World Tour calendar, highest level of international cyclism.

The race has a relatively similar parcours from the Criterium du Dauphiné with its high mountains and individual time-trial stages which makes it a preparatory race for next month big event, the Tour de France.

During last year’s edition, Stefan Kung won the inaugural individual time-trial and wore the leader jersey two days in a row.

Stage 1 – Küsnacht  > Küsnacht  – 178km – 12th june
Stage 2 – Küsnacht > Aesch – 199 km – 13th june
Stage 3 – Aesch > Granges – 177 km – 14th june
Stage 4 – Granges > Brunnen – 191km – 15th june
Stage 5 – Ambri > Novazzano – 193km – 16th june
Stage 6 – Locarno > Moosalp – 180 km – 17th june
Stage 7  – Ambri > Malbun – 196 km – 18th june
Stage 8 (ITT) – Vaduz > Vaduz – 25,6 km – 19th june
