Volta a Catalunya

The Volta a Catalunya (Tour of Catalonia) is a professional cycling race taking place in Catalonia (Spain).

Created in 1911, the race appeared before the Vuelta, the famous Tour of Spain and is parts of the UCI World Tour calendar since 2011.

The Tour of Catalonia is characterized by its montainous profile taking the roads of Andorra and some Pyrenean moutains in France, it also often finish by a stage in Barcelona on a circuit including the famous Montjuïc climb and its park.
