Tour de l’Ain

The Tour de l’Ain is a French stage cycling race taking place annually since 1989. The race was however created in 1960 under the name Prix de l’Amitié.

In 2008, the race entered the UCI Europe Tour calendar in category 2.1.

During last year’s edition, Jake Stewart won the first stage in Val-Revermont and Rudy Molard finished third on General Classification.

Thibaut Pinot is the record holder for the most GC wins with two victories in 2017 and 2019.

Stage 1 – Loyettes > La Plaine Tonique – 154 km – july, 31st
Stage 2 – Saint-Vulbas > Lagnieu – 124 km – august, 1st
Stage 3 – Oyonnax > Lélex-Monts-Jura – 137 km – august, 2nd
