Tour d’Alsace
The Tour d’Alsace is a French stage cycling race created in 2004 which is being disputed through the Alsace plains and moutains as well as the bordering regions.
The race takes part of the UCI Europe Tour calendar in category 2.2 and is therefore stricly reserved to continental teams, national and regional teams.
On this year’s program, an individual-time-trial to start the race and a spectacular arrival at the Super Planche des Belles-Filleson the third stage.
Thibaut Pinot distinguished himself there by winning the GC in 2011.
