The Strade Bianche (“White roads” in italian) are an italian cycling race created in 2007 and usually disputed in the first or second saturday of March.

This race is characterized by its 50 kilometers out of 200 on “white” clay roads which therefore has been given as its name.

The Strade Bianche has integrated the UCI World Tour calendar in 2017.

Originally scheduled for March 7, the race was postponed to August 1st due to the covid-19 health crisis.
