The Scheldeprijs is a one day, Classic Belgian race created in 1907 which makes it the oldest race belonging to the Flanders Classics.

Usually disputed in April, due to the covid-19 health crisis the race has been postponed to the 14th of October. The course of the race borrows the “Flat Country” roads of Belgium and finish by a massive sprint. Some cobbles sections are also present on the course.

For this 2020 edition, the riders will have to reach the town of Schoten a few kilometers from Antwerp in Belgium, starting from Borsele in the Netherlands.

The Scheldeprijs was part of the UCI Europe Tour calendar in category 1,HC from 2005 to 2019. It is now part of the UCI ProSeries calendar.
