Liège-Bastogne-Liège is a one-day, Classic Belgian cycling race created in 1892. Considered as one of the hardest due to its hilly course and its 260 kilometers, the race is therefore one of the most prestigious of cycling and is part of the 5 Monuments.

Liège-Bastogne-Liège is nicknamed “La Doyenne” (The Dean) because of its 108 editions (in 2022) and is therefore part of one of the oldest cycling race still contested.

The race route crosses the Ardennes massif and its famous mounts, inluding the emblematic Côte de La Redoute with its sections at a ascent percentage of 20%. This 2022 edition will end with a final ascent to the Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons before arriving in Liège.

During last year’s edition, David Gaudu finished third and claimed its first podium on a Monument.
