The race line-up
Usually the fifth and last cyclism Monument of the season, Il Lombardia is one of the most prestigious cycling race in Italy and is part of the UCI World Tour calendar.
It is run on a difficult course, between lakes and mountains of the Lombardy region in Italia.
This 2020 edition, Il Lombardia will be the second Monument of the season, just one week after Milan – San Remo due to the post-covid 19 health crisis calendar.
Thibaut Pinot distinguished himself on this race by winning the 2018 edition.
