Il Lombardia
Fifth and last cyclism Monument of the season, Il Lombardia is one of the most prestigious cycling race in Italy and is part of the UCI World Tour calendar.
It is run on a difficult course, between lakes and mountains of the Lombardy region in Italia.
For this 2022 edition, the riders will have to complete about 230km between the cities of Como and Bergamo.
Thibaut Pinot distinguished himself on this race by winning the 2018 edition. Il Lombardia also marks the last race of his outstanding career where he will be keen to finish on a high note.
