Giro d’Italia U23

The Giro d’Italia U23 is an Italian stage cycling race created in 1970 on the same model as the Tour de l’Avenir.

Until 2012, the race was opened to cyclists under the age of 27 in category 2.2 of the UCI Europe Tour calendar. In 2017, the race came back with a new formula based on cyclists under 23 years old.

Initially disputed around June, the race has been postponed to the 29th of august to the 5th of september due to the covid-19 health crisis.

Stage 1 – Urbino > Urbino– 150.5 km – 29th august
Stage 2 – Gradara > Riccione – 125 km – 30th august
Stage 3 – Riccione > Mordano – 150,5 km – 31st august
Stage 4 – Bonferraro di Sorgà > Bolca – 159,3 km – 1st september
Stage 5 – Marostica > Rosà – 132,7 km – 2nd september
Stage 6 – Colico > Colico – 157,1 km – 3rd september
Stage 7 – Lecco > Montespluga – 124,9 km – 4th september
Stage 8 – Aprica > Aprica – 120,9 km – 5th september
