The first Grand Tour of the season, the Giro d’Italia was created in 1909 by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Known for its demanding routes, it features high mountain stages in the Alps and the Apennines, as well as decisive time trials. The pink jersey (Maglia Rosa) is awarded to the overall leader, a symbol inspired by the color of the organizing newspaper. The Giro is renowned for its passionate atmosphere, diverse landscapes, and often unpredictable weather conditions.
In recent years, our team has performed strongly on the roads of the Giro, with Bruno Armirail wearing the pink jersey for two stages in 2023. In that same edition, Thibaut Pinot finished 5th overall and claimed the Maglia Azzurra as best climber.
In 2021, Attila Valter also wore the pink jersey for three stages.
