Etoile de Bessèges – Tour du Gard

The Étoile de Bessèges – Tour du Gard was created in 1971 by Roland Fangille, a former cyclist and is the first european stage race of the professional calendar in category 2.1.

On this year’s edition, the race will finish by the traditional Ales individual time trial whereas the queen stage will be played on the steep slopes of the Mont Bouquet.

Stage 1 – Bellegarde > Bellegarde – 160,8km – february, 1st
Stage 2 – Saint-Christol-lez-Alès > Rousson – 156,2 km – february, 2nd
Stage 3 – Bessèges > Bessèges – 155,6 km – february, 3rd
Stage 4 – Saint-Hilaire-de-Brethmas > Mont Bouquet – 145,5 km – february, 4th
Stage 5 (ITT) – Alès > Alès – 10,6km – february, 5th
